Career & Achievements
I support health and care organisations to design, scale and grow sustainable, high-performing services and products, improving outcomes and experience while remaining commercially robust and regulator-ready.
I bring 20 years of senior leadership and board-level experience across the independent sector, NHS, social care and VCSE, leading complex CQC-regulated services across large geographies as well as highly valued local community provision. Services under my leadership have been consistently rated Outstanding or Good, reflecting a sustained focus on quality, performance and people.
Partnership working sits at the heart of my practice. I have built trusted, contractual collaborations across the NHS, voluntary sector and life sciences industry, including work with Roche, Bupa, Spire Healthcare, multiple NHS Foundation Trusts and national charities such as the Alzheimer’s Society. I work confidently across organisational boundaries, bringing commissioners, providers and commercial partners together to design and deliver services and products that are clinically credible, operationally viable and commercially sustainable.
I am an agile, strategic and commercially astute leader, with a strong track record of designing and implementing scalable service and product models, supporting organisational restructuring, and strengthening business models to enable sustainable growth and expansion, without compromising quality, purpose or values. My strength lies in aligning diverse stakeholders around shared purpose and values, translating complex system ambition into real-world delivery that improves performance, quality, outcomes and experience, and enables more personalised, integrated and resilient services and products.
As a recognised subject matter expert in dementia, I have worked at national, regional and local system levels. I have served on the NHS England Dementia Steering Group (2022–2024) and the NHSE COVID Dementia Steering Group, contributed to national best-practice guidance, authored for the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and presented across NHSE clinical networks. I am committed to sharing learning and supporting systems to improve access, quality and outcomes through evidence-based service design.
My background is grounded in operational excellence and commercial delivery, underpinned by BSc and MSc qualifications and strong analytical capability. I have led NHSE-commissioned quality improvement programmes and award-winning local systems-thinking initiatives, delivering measurable improvement and population-level impact. I have also held senior roles in quality, governance and compliance, including statutory appointments as Designated Safeguarding Lead for Adults and Children and CQC Registered Manager, enabling confident engagement with Boards, regulators and commissioners.
I am motivated by supporting the health and care system to become more proactive, personalised and resilient, delivering better outcomes and experiences for citizens.
