I bring almost 20 years of years of senior leadership experience and board experience across the independent, NHS, social care, and VCSE sector, leading CQC-regulated services, rated Outstanding or Good only, over large geographical areas as well as highly valued local community services. 

While my career was initially built on operational excellence and commercial success, I have also held roles in organisational quality and compliance as well as holding statutory and regulated roles such as Designated Safeguarding Lead for Adults and Children, and CQC Registered Manager.

As a subject matter expert in dementia, I have worked across the NHS at national, regional, and local levels. I’ve served as a member of both the NHS England Dementia Steering Group (2022–2024) and the NHSE COVID Dementia Steering Group and contributed to national best practice guidance. I strongly believe in sharing learning and have presented in NHSE national and local clinical networks, authored for the Royal College of Psychiatrists and supported providers and commissioners to improve models of care.

Recognised as an agile and strategic thinker, with a strong grasp of the commercials, I have designed and implemented scalable, impactful services that consistently deliver on performance, outcomes, and patient experience, whilst maintaining a strong commercial foundation. I have also supported organisations to restructure to improve the business model and enable mass expansion and commercial success. 

With a natural inclination toward continual improvement, I bring a collaborative, evidence-based approach, underpinned by BSc and MSc qualifications. My highly analytical and results-driven style, combined with the ability to navigate complex systems and interpret large data sets, has supported the successful delivery of NHSE-commissioned quality improvement workstreams within the Stroke system, Health Board–commissioned Systems Thinking initiatives, and Serious Incident Reviews.

I firmly believe in the power of partnerships and have built successful collaborations across the NHS, charitable sector, and pharmaceutical industry. I’m skilled at engaging stakeholders at all levels and seek to create environments where individuals, teams, and services can thrive. 

Throughout my career, I have co-created innovative solutions with commissioners, senior leaders, clinicians, and people with lived experience. I am keen to support the healthcare system to become a more proactive, personalised and resilient system as well as improving outcomes and experience for our citizens.
